On behalf of the Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing, It gives me immense pleasure in welcoming the fresh batch of students who joined in 1st Year B.Sc. Nursing Course for the academic session 2006 - 2007.

We emphasize thoughtful, creative, analytical approach to the solutions of problems in Nursing practice and education to develop cognitive , affective and psycho motor competencies among the students essential for adopting to the socio-cultural changes of today and tomorrow's world . We utilize Nursing process in meeting the physical, psycho-social and spiritual needs of individuals, families, and the community through primary nursing in order to maintain optimum functionality of the systems.

Given the dynamic nature of the society and growing needs of the nation, a graduate nurse is expected to function independently while effectively delivering health care to the individuals, families and the community. Emerging out of the Sree Vidyanikethan College of Nursing, she should be tuned to learning through out life. Regular reading habits and constant efforts in their career will help them achieve their object of becoming good professionals.
