As we have core academic competencies and a vision we felt that it is our responsibility to provide primary Health Care to the community by striving to establish and maintain a centre of excellence for the pursuit of higher education in Nursing. We would like to place a special focus on creative and analytical approach to the solution of problems in Nursing Practice and Education and develop cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies required for providing Primary Health Care scientifically and independently to the individuals, families and the community at large.

Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust, a multi-crore, non-Governmental, "not for profit" and service organization was founded by Padma Sri Dr. M.Mohan Babu. A versatile Movie Artiste, Film Producer and formerly a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) in the year 1992 with an objective of imparting quality and purposeful education to the young minds be sides providing services to the underprivilized sections of the society. The Trust sponsors Sree Vidyanikethan International School, Degree College, Post Graduate College, Engineering College, Pharmacy College and Nursing College with a total strength of about 6000 students and 750 staff members. All the trust institutions have earned wide reputation of being premier chain of educational institutions in the state and could carve niche to themselves in the field of educational. Today all the Institutions of the Trust are most admired in the State of A.P. the Trust campus spreads over an area of 175 acres with sylvon surroundings, 14 Kms away from the famous Temple Town Tirupati on the National High way no. 205 between Tirupati - Madanapalli. The Trust has been providing free education to the poorest of the poor irrespective of caste, creed or religion.
