Andhra Pradesh State Board

Andhra Pradesh State Board Keeping in view of the growing demand of the local parents, the school started a separate stream in the Academic year 2000, affiliated to A.P. State Board of secondary Education, Hyderabad.

The school is proud of the spectacular achievements of students in Class VII District Common board Examinations and SSC Board.

Evaluation

For Classes I to Classes V, the evaluation is continuous comprehensive evaluation modeled on the guide lines of CBSE Achievement record.

For classes VI and above, there are 2/3 terminal examinations with 2/4 Unit tests, besides weekly and fortnightly assignments. The school keeps the parent fully informed of all developments in students life at the hostel/school campus. Two specific ways in which this achieved is from the compilation of reports after Unit tests and terminal examinations with comprehensive remarks covering Academic, Sports and Games, Cultural and pre-fectorial activities.

Record of achievements are already in existence to make the Teachers and students accountable, and, of course, there by broadening the scope of result analysis in order to understand the scholastic growth of the child thoroughly. At regular intervals, parents can also get an update on their childs performance through their visits to   http://www.Vidyanikethan.edu   where each student has a separate login and password accessible only to parents.

Promotion policy

The school has no system of retests at any stage and point of time. The promotion is on the basis of promotion criteria which is decided by the Academic staff on the unanimous decision which in turn on the basis of the over all performance of the student through out the year. The school will not apply any discretion whatsoever in the normal circumstances in this regard.
