1. Seminars and Workshops conducted:

The department of EEE had conducted an AICTE sponsored a two-day National Seminar on “Power Electronics and Drives and their Applications to Power Systems” during 14-15 July 2007. It was attended by 40 teachers pf various Engineering Colleges. The M.Tech. (EPS) students of Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College also participated in the deliberations of the seminar.
The Resource persons were:

1. Electrical Technical Association (ETA)

The ETA was inaugurated on 10th August 2007. Dr. K. Nagendra Prasad of Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati was the Chief Guest. Prof. T. Gopal Rao, Special Officer of Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust was the Guest of Honour.
Dr. K. Nagendra Prasad who is also the PAT officer at S.V. University gave an interesting lecture on the skills and personality qualities to be possessed by the students aspiring for quality career.
Every week ETA organizing various activities like seminars, JAM, Group discussions, story telling etc.,
ETA conducted cricket tournment to all the students of the dept. of EEE class-wise.
