Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 1996 with an intake of 120 and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University , Hyderabad and 5 batches of students have been graduated so far.
The department started M. Tech. (Electrical Power Systems) from the academic year 2004-2005 with an intake of 18 and is affiliated to J N T University. Separate laboratories are provided for M. Tech programme.
The department is headed by Prof. P. Ramana Reddy, who has over Thirty-five years of experience in the field of teaching. The department is also supported by Prof. M. R. Kodali with vast industrial and teaching experience and 14 faculty members, out of which 11 are Post-Graduates. Breakup of teaching staff is: 3 Professors, 4 Associate Professors, 7 Assistant Professors and 2 Lecturers.
ETA (Electrical Technical Association) is a students' body for conducting career developing interpersonal and intrapersonal skills of students. It organizes Seminars, Quiz Programmes, Industrial Visits, Paper Contests, Group Discussions, Guest Lectures, Career Guidance, and Games etc under its auspices. ETA also organizes Technical Exhibitions for benefit of local public.
