Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
Founded in 1996 along with the college, the Department of ECE has made rapid strides with the intake of 60, enhanced to 120 after four years. Till now 8 batches of students have graduated.
The Department is headed by Prof. C.Subhas who has vast industrial and teaching experience andis supported by Prof. T.Venkateswarulu. The Department has competent, committed and well-qualified motivated faculty of 24 members possessing Ph.D., M.Tech. and B.Tech. in various specializations.
The department has well equipped laboratories established with an approximate cost of Rupees 49lakhs. Some of the laboratories are:

The achievements of the department can be gauged from the two University Gold Medals and one silver Medal awarded to the students for their outstanding academic performance in recent years.
Association of Communication Majors and Enthusiasts (ACME) looks after the extra curricular activities of the students. It periodically conducts quiz programmes, seminars, group discussions etc. for students to further their professional interest and to expose them to the latest technological advances and to enhance interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
