Computer Science and Engineering

The CSE branch was established in 1996 with an intake of 60 and subsequently, the intake was enhanced to 120 from the academic year 2000-2001. The Department has been accredited for three years by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) effective from March 16, 2007 . Prof. A. Rama Mohan Reddy heads the department with 25 years of teaching experience. Department is also supported by Prof. K. Delhi Babu with good experience. Breakup of teaching staff is: 03 Professors, 01 Associate Professors, 04 Assistant Professor (Sr. Grade) and 20 Assistant Professors. Out of which 16 persons are with PG qualification.

The Department started M.Tech. (Computer Science) from the academic year 2004-2005 with an intake of 18. Separate laboratories are provided for M.Tech. programme.

The Department is well equipped with 142 Computer Systems with latest Configuration and also have a separate Department Library with Latest Titles, Editions, Journals, Magazines and also connected with Internet Facility.

The department organizes seminars, workshops etc for the enhancement of the Technical Skills of the student to fit into the latest Technological World.

Computer Engineers Technical Association (CETA) organizes regularly curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the all round development of students.

Student Guardian Scheme is in operation, about 10-15 students are attached to each teacher to guide, motivate and counsel them in academic & other matters.
