The NSS day was celebrated in Sree Vidyanikethan Degree College on 24th September, 2007. In this connection a blood donation camp was inaugurated by Dr. T. Venkateswarulu, Superintendent, S.V.R.R. Govt. Hospital, Tirupati. Prof. T. Gopala Rao, Special Officer, SVET, delivered a speech on role of youth in service.    Dr. R.R. Reddy, Medical Officer, Blood Bank, S.V.R.R. Govt. Hospital, Tirupati and Dr. Srinivasulu Naidu, NSS Coordinator, S.V. University, Tirupati addressed and encouraged the students to take part in service and community development activities. 140 students of SVDC voluntarily donated blood in this mega event.
